Who is Dr. Jaz?

Dr. Jasmine Zapata aka "Dr. Jaz" is an award winning author, speaker, book publishing coach and double board certified physician specializing in the fields of pediatrics and preventive medicine. She is the founder of Motivational M.D. Publishing which helps people write books that heal, uplift, and inspire the next generation. She specifically works with authors interested in writing motivational, educational and inspirational books for children and teens. Dr Jaz is also the founder of the Beyond Beautiful Girls Empowerment Movement and her books have been translated into Swahili and Korean. Her books and courses have also been adopted by school systems, libraries, churches, community centers, and community restorative courts across the US. Dr. Zapata is truly dynamic and her advocacy and community work has been featured on live national TV.
